Swiss Alps is a HIGH speed track which should be an excellent course for people
who like "driver's" tracks. Pro drivers will hopefully appreciate and enjoy it's
layout and it's challenges.
It is set in the mountains and has a number of elevation changes but speed is
retained throughout. You need to get into a real rythm and flow and be able to
handle turns at fast speeds. Decisions need to be made quickly.
Much of the course runs along the edge of the mountains, not only
making the racing exciting, but also providing many nice views of the track and your
competition. First and foremost for me was to create a track that is fast, challenging,
and requires skill. I also wanted it to be a track that was enjoyable to look at.
According to Guitar Bill, I reached the limit on track objects. 540! Every tree,
boulder, hill, etc., was placed for a reason. Either to block shortcutting, as a
consideration in the driver's line, a complimentary scenery detail, a feature to be
used against your competition, or as a tool to prevent the mirroring effect.
I worked on every inch of this track and it took approximately 60 hours to complete.
Swiss Alps was created with Traxx. It's a
tremendous tool and Guitar Bill has my sincere thanks for making it for us all.
I really hope you will find it a good and fun single or multi-player track.

Key Features:
            * A hidden alternative route for one section of the track and a hidden,
challenging shortcut. The alternate route should be used in certain
situations. Use your racing wits to decide when. Have fun finding them
              too. :-)
            * A fast downhill decent and a high speed, sweeping first turn.
            * A huge bridge with traffic which connects two mountains.
            * A good lap time is a 1:47.
            * My own Laguna Seca style corkscrew.
            * "Use" the water tower.
            * The trains and tunnel which you share with them are a key section of
              track.
            * I spent a lot of time with the AI and it is very, very fast and
competitive. Not very far off the best lap time by Jammer which was
              done during testing.
            * No scenery levels. Everyone will be racing on the same track regardless
               of graphics setting.
*NO cheap shortcuts exist that were not designed into the track. Don't even bother
looking because I made sure there wasn't any. :-)
*Two cool looking castles from medieval times.

Special thanks to:
*Jammer, for his invaluable testing, ideas, suggestions, and encouragement.
He's also one of the best drivers around!
*Jammer's grandaughter Amy (future Formula 1 champion) for testing.
*Juannes for his tremendous technical help. I would of been lost on a number
                  occasions without his advice.
*KC for his ideas and suggestions.
*Guitar Bill for his awesome Traxx creation.
